Ace

Ace, a stunning Black Friesian X registered with the Friesian Sport Horse Registry, is truly the total package. This handsome 8-year-old gelding stands 15.3 hands tall and has been raised and trained with care and intention. Ace started his training in the arena with a focus on training-level dressage. He has excellent self-carriage, smooth and effortless gaits, and a soft, responsive connection in the bridle. His balanced, uphill canter feels like floating, and his transitions are smooth and seamless. Whether you are asking for collection or lateral movements, he is eager to respond and willing to try for his rider. Beyond the arena, this versatile gelding has proven himself to be a steady, dependable partner on the trails.

He is experienced and confident, having covered countless miles of trail riding. He crosses water, goes over bridges, and navigates rugged terrain without hesitation. He is safe in traffic and will calmly handle encounters with vehicles, wildlife, or farm machinery. He rides just as well alone as he does in a group, maintaining his calm demeanor no matter the situation. He is also a fantastic traveler—load him up, and he steps off the trailer at a new location ready to go, behaving the same every time.

Ace is easy to keep and enjoys both barn life and pasture time. Whether he is in a stall or out in the field, he is always ready to greet you and comes up willingly. He has no bad habits and thrives on attention, bonding quickly with his handlers. Currently, he is wearing shoes all around to accommodate the terrain where he is ridden, but he has strong, healthy feet. He is a dream to ride in any discipline, working beautifully in both English and Western tack. He will collect nicely into the bridle, offer lateral movements, and slow down for a relaxed jog when asked. He is comfortable for riders of all levels, forgiving of mistakes, and patient with less experienced riders. Whether he is ridden daily or given a few days—or even weeks—off, he maintains the same steady, willing personality. Ace has been exposed to a wide variety of farm animals, trail obstacles, and new environments. Tarps, jugs, water crossings, and busy trails are no problem for him. He does not get rattled easily and adjusts to new surroundings without a fuss. He stands quietly in cross ties or tied single, showing great patience and manners. If you are looking for a safe, versatile, and willing partner for the arena, trails, or even new disciplines, Ace could be your dream horse. His stunning looks, kind demeanor, and excellent training make him stand out from the crowd.
