Marquis

Marquis is a sleek jet black talented gelding. He can be successfully shown by an amateur, youth or open rider in all the ranch versatility classes as well as the cattle classes.

Marquis moves smoothly, floating across the ground. He has a nice natural level headset, he is a good stopper, has a great handle and an exceptional extended trot. This gelding has proven himself time & time again on our farm. Marquis has packed my 3 year old son around the trail obstacles and he has been to the pay window with a 10 year old student at all the ranch shows this summer. He has taught several students how to execute the flying lead change & turnaround correctly.
He's one I can saddle up once a week or once a month, not worry about a thing and know I will be safe. You will not find another one like him! We have exposed him to everything possible under the sun & we have personally hauled him to horse shows and to trail ride nearly every weekend.

He is ready for you to take home & enjoy! Whether it's showing, trail riding or just around your farm, Marquis will surely steal your heart. He is a fun horse to ride with a friendly, goofy personality. He loves to be bathed, he stands well for the farrier, and is good stalled or out with others. Marquis has plenty of body, bone, and substance.  He's always gentle, loads & hauls great, easy to catch, and looking for attention. He is current on deworming, vaccinations, farrier and sells with a pre-purchase exam and has radiographs available before the sale.
